See attached and try that.. I didn't see categories, but I saw {Labels} => go to: studio > Forms > Fields > Persons > Add Person  =>  Enable {Labels} and see if that helps.. On my site, under Posts Mod, I enabled {category} and users were able to add their own categories.. Basically, I tried to show you the same process I did for Posts.. I never done this for Profiles..
