Alex T thank you for your reply however I used a 2000 px image and still only part of the image is used

see example here http://togetherweearn.com/una/page/about the cover image at the top is only displaying part of the image as you can see what the image should look like on the page.

  I'ts complicated and simple at once:) the point is not only width, it's high metters also. In other words - if you want all parts of the picture in your cover - better to use really long pic, something like 19x7 aspect ratio (instead of 4x3 or 16x9)
