oh okay.  after process mapping all the use scenarios and options, that method actually is the most efficient.   i just notice that sometimes when i take a screenshot i send to my friend its 11 megabytes, and she is on slow connection in bavaria, the rest of her chat messages are slowed because she hasnt downloaded the file yet.  then this makes node have to catch up.   (are they already running multiple threads spawned on demand) for messages coming in asyc to being sent, if this situation with waiting on attachment occurs?
