I agree. You can create a custom page using messenger that "looks" like a chat and can be used as one as well. According to Alexey, they are working on improvements to expand the messenger to have Chat functionality... such a public channels/rooms, etc.. I am betting that BoonEx will eventually ditch both Chat+ and Rocket Chat..
