Are you planning a function in the Affiliates app where a User that has joined without a Referral Link can be linked to the Referrer who invited them? Many people don't want to use a link and will search for the site and join without the referral link.

A suggestion:

• After they have joined, as part of their action to complete their profile, ask them to provide their Referrer's email address.
• Once they have submitted the detail, they should not be able to edit it, or else we are going to have people moving around from one Referrer to another.
