Comment to '"Who can Post" in spaces should be dependent on Roles'
  • Hi @LeonidS . So for example, In Forms -> Roles -> Groups I have set two Roles -> Administrator and Members. Under the Field-> Who can Post when Adding/Creating a Group, the Group admin may choose to just have administrators be able to post in the group. Or they may want both admins and members to post. Or anyone in the community (public). And they get to assign these roles (Set Role) when guests join their group - with those Roles yeah? But the way it is right now- under "Who can Post" I have followers and members, which for my platform does not make sense- as I don't allow people to 'follow' a Group. They're either a member or assigned to be an admin.

This happens for Organizations too- I have 7 different Roles assigned. Under Who can Post-, as creator of the Organization, I may want 3 people with selected roles to be able to post on the Organization. As Organization admin/creator I can set Roles to different users, I should also choose which of them should have the privilege to post within the Organization/Event/Group.

So if there is a way for the "Who can Post field" to take the options from the ROLES that can be set by Site Admin, it would make more sense I believe.
