I found the wrong module assigned in the App's Navigation. I can't explain how that happened.

I changed the "View Action" menu's assigned module from the "Timeline" to "Photos", and problems were sorted out.

It is important to check right down to the menu's item level to see if the correct "module" is linked to the "set" in the App.
