1) It's possible to do with the Javascript (better JQuery) code which will add the target="_blank" atribute to the search form.

2) also, you may add the block which will hide the unnecssary fields from the search form. You may use the link with the toggle method calling.

3) So did you have the persons which locate in the choosen area parameters?
