Yes, you are right, Jitsi Meet has been updated several times, but nothing has changed in the Messenger integration since the first integration. We will address this issue in the near future.

Initially, there was a free version of Jitsi with a wide range of features, making it very convenient to use. However, at present, the free version of Jitsi has become less comfortable to use, and Jitsi now suggests setting up your own server. In this case, all the features that were previously available should still be accessible.

To connect your own Jitsi setup to the Messenger, you just need to specify the link to your Jitsi Meet server in the Messenger settings (see the screenshot), and everything should work. If you're having trouble, let us know. There's no need to insert an iframe or anything like that - just specify the link to your Jitsi Meet server.

In the near future, we will test the new features available in Jitsi Meet and review all the settings to identify which options are still relevant and which are not.
