Could you please specify this part: "When I add a hashtag to a photo (in edit mode), it doesn’t show up in the channel page." From my side it works fine - did you change something with the Description field?

Here are the steps to reproduce:

1. Upload photo
2. Edit photo and add description with hashtag #testhashtag
3. Go to the current photo page and click on hashtag #testhashtag
4. It will go to channel #testhashtag
5. Channel is empty

About the missing hashtag field in the Add Photo form - via this way you may the several photos at once so the one description for all will be not so good.

its ok to use same one description to all then edit so i added a custom textarea input and copy all details from edit form (using developer module), its working fine but adding hashtag to it not creating the hashtag at all!
