2mb download limit

Something has changed on the site that again limits 2mb download files after correcting it months ago. It may have happened  after try v1b update which did not work well and restored site from backup. The php.ini tool in our isp has the following:
memory_limit 256M, post_max_size 256M, upload_max_filesize 256M for home and html site dir. Where else should i look to find where this 2MB limit is restricting my file limit uploads to site.

    • I found the problem. In cpanel>php selector>options>upload_max_filesize was 2mb

      • There are several areas to check to make the change. My hosting provider has MultiPHP INI editor, and PHP Selector. You need to make sure that the current php version is edited if you have more than one installed.
