Email notifications from site
Two questions:
1.Do we need to have "receive Site Updates" turned on (like in image above) so that members get email notifications from site, e.g., new posts, conversations updates...etc? these were not working for some members until I turned this on for them.
2.If so, how can we select for what they get, for examples, I don't want all members to receive stuff like "how many new accounts created the day before"....etc, and other site updates.

1) Yes, this is correct. With this disabled point, the users will not get notifications.
2) The mentioned letters are coming to the admins/moderators only.
