How to remove 'Public' from Visibility?

Hi,

we are trying to direct the users to just post their content (Posts, Updates, Videos, Pictures, Albums ...) to a defined group (Friends, Family ...) and not for public.

Are we blind or is this option not possible? I would also change files or db entries to achieve this.
