Is it possible to change a Block you used everywhere so everywhere change automatically when you change the original.

I made a Block with a Disclaimer that i want to use on profiles. ( because affiliates don't think i am one of them )

And i made a grammatical mistake. And i want to fix it.

20 profiles have the block, how can i change all the blocks at once please?

Thnks

    • Hello @Busimatch !

How di you create that block? If for exawmple, you created it via the Pages->Persons->View Person page - then it is enough to correct it there only.

      • The problem is, ( see picture ) i have to place each time a i in DisclaImer ( because i forgot at the fist time )

image_transcoder.php?o=sys_images_editor&h=2439&dpx=1&t=1737328063Do i have to do it in the database?

        • Well, for the global "block" you'd better use the Studio->Designer->Injections->Body injections area. Just insert there the necessary info and move it to the top with teh CSS / JS code.

          • It would be great to add a "custom block edit feature" to the Developer App. That way a custom block and be created once and then used everywhere. eg, A custom footer or disclaimer etc. Or add a toggle to the custom block so that if it is updated it updates all version of that block where-ever it was placed. Should be an easy fix for the team. Thanks @Bernie O'Neill

            • Hello @Media R3ALM !

The HTML tags is possible to store in the language keys. For the more complex variants it's better to have own module with the sets of the necessary blocks.

              • Hello,

That's exactly the problem I was also facing.

@LeonidS Unlike what you said, UNA doesn't have a proper solution for a global block. If someone has 100 pages, he will have to create 100 blocks for 100 separate pages manually. And that's really sad. Now, please imagine the nightmare to edit them!

Using the body injection works in some specific use case only. If you run a single language website, you are good to go. But for others like me, running a multilingual site, that solution doesn't help unless you would like the information put in the body injection to remain untranslated. Reason: Language keys don't work in the body injection.

Please check my post here: Language key not working in the injections

We definately need an effective global block solution and a body injection solution that works with language keys to allow us to place some information in the footer as well. Please! @Andrey Yasko @Alex T⚜️ @Anton L

                Thanks

                • Hello @OneEagle !

Unfortunately, even if you will have the nice block from your module, it will require to insert it to every necessary pages via builder manually, or via the database. Because UNA structure uses the pages objects with the blocks within.
