Just A Thought - Entering Text on Mobile vs Desktop
There have been mentions before regarding the text format and font options being in the way and I had an idea and wanted to see what others thought...
For a desktop view, continue to have the full text menu available.
For mobile view, it be hidden and members use default text settings, determined by the admin.
If there could be a setting (check boxes?) for admins to enable/disable the font menu as needed...
1 - Original Posts (only)
[ ] - Desktop [ ] - Mobile
2 - Comments (only)
[ ] - Desktop [ ] - Mobile
- Or even have a Complete font menu settings section within Studio to have more customizing and limiting abilities.
In effect to have the ability for all mobile entries to have a cleaner look, much like the Update entry is on here now:
PS - I would still love to see the 'Post' button moved up to the line just under the text box, and to the far right 😁

Yes - it's a good idea. Perhaps creating a new block create_post_mobile with mini editor and using this block for mobile devices would do it? Alex T⚜️ Andrew Boon - thoughts?

Actually Froala supports different sets of buttons for mobile view, maybe we can add it to the configurtion: https://github.com/unaio/una/issues/2505

I was under the assumption that you could already use the format UNA uses. I've had it on my site before but switched it to this type of format mainly because I wanted it to be "different" than other social networks and also because I think it's pretty cool to be able to add an image with text in the same block. What I do want though is when the full window is enabled that there's a Post Button in the pop out editor. Exiting the pop out editor can make the page jump to the top making someone have to manually scroll down to find the post they were just editing and to post it. Also re-sizing images and placing them is almost impossible because mobile phones have screen keyboards that fill half the screen so touching the screen makes the page jump up and down as the keyboard pops up and down. Being able to post directly in full window mode is a must and a button to post and delete is desperately needed
No Post or delete button in Full window mode and when I press to exit window mode the screen jumps to the top like this forcing me to scroll all the way down to find my spot again
