Live Ticker

I would like to see a live ticker with a quick post form. The Ticker would be animated live and scrollable and would have profile pic of person with a tag saying they added a video, post, sound etc... When someone presses on the Ticker it would be linkable to the page. The Ticker could be placed on Home Page or any page where users could see live updates on friends while watching videos etc.
