One Signal Setup

For those who set up OneSignal for push notifications -

1). do we have to paste the code in our <head> section? Or because we can just add the APPID in studio, we don't have to copy/paste the code in?

2). do we still have to upload the service worker files? I know for Wordpress and Shopify- it's automatic and they don't have to upload them. Wondering if it's the same for UNA?
