OneSignal and UNA

We are trying to understand the issue we have with failing of UNA to send Push Notification after the last update (14-RC3). Can someone kindly explain how UNA contacts OneSignal to spcifiy the recipient of the Push notification. More specifically what ID it uses and where is it stored in db?
