Slide Out Menus for Proteon

I never got an actual response to this. I don't like the drop down Home Page Menu on Proteon and want to replace it with a Slide Out Side Menu like most of the rest of the Templates. How do I do this? I know there's the ability to create them but no actual instructions on how to replace one.
