Uploading images fails

Good day!

Everything was going as usual and I noticed a broken image link on mobile so I cleared my cache.  The logo turned to a broken image link then too.  I have seen a few discussions about the same behavior.

The short.....

Created site, uploaded logos, site cover, etc.  Everything fine.  Install modules, setup...notice broken link for image placeholder.  Flush cache, see the same for the header cover.  Try to upload replacement or same image and it says successful.  Results in broken image link.

I didn't change anything server related.  My server audit is all green checks.  The permissions linkage though -when clicked- results in a white screen and hangs.  I don't understand why.  During the install a permission check came up ( I assume is the same one) and it was all correct except the ffmpeg.exe - which is normal - and I made it executable...same as I did in my test install.  Then everything went as expected.  Manually verified rewrite...its on.

Any advice?  I am about to dump the install and start over.  I really do not want to do that.  I have tried everything.  The uploads are in fact there.  

The ...image_transcoder.php?o=sys_icon_apple&h=7&dpx=1&t=1556268444 for example throws a page not found.  Anything with image_transcoder.php shows a broken image, where as yesterday morning it worked just fine.

Ideas?

      image_transcoder.php can't resize the images if the server hasn't enough resources for it. So in your situation, I may suggest that there started a new part which requires memory and / or other resources too. Please provide me the ControlPanel access via Messenger to check it closer.

        I think my problem is quite similiar. Upload works, all files are at the storage directory but imagefiles are shown with a broken link.

        Which resources are needed for the image_transcoder.php?

          Well, it is better to investigate with info which I requested from Wizcom, Ltd . But for the instant check, you may increase memory_limit and max_execution_time parameters.
