Visibility option not found on "Edit Post" in "timeline"

In a space timeline I have the option of "visibility" when I create an update. This option is available via "create post" option when I use "fields" to adjust choices (see below):

However, when I edit the post, I can no longer see this "visibility" option (see below):

although when I go to adjust the "field" options for "edit post", visibility choice appears to be there by default (see image below):

so, my question how can I make this visibility choice appears when I edit an update post in timeline in a space?
