Please help, where can I edit the list of files that can be uploaded? I want to add support for WebP right away.

Please can you let me know how to apply a check/test to stop people from signing-up or changing their username to include an @ symbol?When a user signs-up with the @ symbol in their user name the @ tagging function does not find them.
