You need to go Studio->Developer App and turn on the "Enable relationships between " parameters. Then every profile will have the "Add relationship" button after the "Friends" connection.

  I see only possibility to do "add friend", "follow", "favorite" .... I am interested in such that will go to table sys_profiles_conn_relations

  In the given example, when the user "Jason Moor" will confirm your friend request you will see the button "Add relationship". It appears only for confirmed friends.

  Thanks, I tested that , was able to establish Father / Son relation between two accounts
