UPDATE: there was a wrong name for the value set for the categories field (bx_posts}cats instead of #!bx_posts_cats).

  Thanks so much LeonidS for the quick fix, it is working now.. Not sure how (bx_posts}cats got changed. I didn't change anything other than installing RSS feed Mod which sends feeds to {Posts} Mod - not sure if RSS Feed Mod caused this issue.. Thanks again !
