I have any link to a publication on Instagram, this for example: https://www.instagram.com/p/CKpQAMCph6T/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
In una.io I go to "update", I click the link icon and paste the above link.
Doing so does not display a preview of the publication. Also not after clicking "POST".

Thank you for the detailed explanation, after some checking it looks like embedly isn't working for instagram links, so maybe embedly is blocked by instagram, on una.io we use embedly and it cause instagram links aren't converting to embeds.
Also I've checked - iframely is working fine for instagram links, so you can try to switch to iframely instead.

I switched to Iframely but nothing was working so I reconfigured Embedly.
I found this on Embedly, from last November: http://status.embed.ly/
