Same problem, but it's not an email notification. It's a user that cannot be accessed by anyone. Permissions and roles are identical to other users. I don't understand why this user's profile and other content is restricted to all other users...?

  Additional info: user's profile and content is "Access denied. This is private content." to any user that is not an operator level under roles.
