I tried the above on my site but had no success. So I got with Alexander with AQB Soft  and he found a simple fix for this and it's working perfectly. I'll share it below.

 The solution is to paste the following into the injections in studio->designer

<style>
.bx-user-unauthorized .bx-tl-item-comments-holder {
display:none;
}
</style>

I was able to get it working!

Yes, I had seen that above but thought others might find this useful.
