Hello John Curtis !
Well, from my side there is no difference of the Badges work in the Lucid and other default templates. But if you turn back to use the badges again, I may continue the work on your site directly.

  Are you asking me to enable the badges app? I ask because if I do it will disable the mobile apps and mess up the timeline plus it slows the site down a lot. I don't have a problem if you are going to work on it but I can't leave it enabled.
