Hello @Abbey !
Yes, you may not upgrade your UNA core's and modules there and everything will continue to work. The modules will stop to work properly if you would upgrade the UNA core but not - the installed modules.

  Yes. I don't tell for other vendors, but UNA team provide the availability of the apps for all versions.
