You can disable/enable ability to post messages in settings of a talk. May be this ability has been closed by admin for Shoutbox.
Great, thank you. I used another account to remove my main profile and then add it again. After sending a message from a secondary account, I can see the messages on my main profile.
You can also disable/enable sending message ability according to membership level.
