Hey Jake, I am having the same issue but mine was working at one point, is there somewhere to check logs to see what is causing the connection to fail on the messenger module side? my jot server is listening and not spitting out any error logs.

Hello!
You may check console of the browser on Messenger's page, there are should be error messsages.
Also in Jot Server side you can find log.log file in Jot Server's root folder, it should contains errors if they were.

My issue was fixed by reinstalling Jot Server. @Expertzkris did the clean install for me.
Would recommend a reinstall if you’re not finding a solution through browser console error logs or the log.log file in the root file in Jot Server.
