I think HTML5 uploader is the default uploader; I don't think UNA has any other uploader in place.

  I think what you may be getting confused with is, the layout of the block in which you are attempting to upload a video.

  Video upload mod, create post block, etc..... might be the reason your getting confused, many have including myself in the beginning.
