Links can be media types such as WAV, MP3 or OGG. You can also use a streaming URL. Otherwise you can use the Embed option by wrapping the URL in the following code =:

The screenshot I shared was from your website... so 100% not just my site... But for sake of argument, see below. As per the screenshot, my bet is on the sheer number of sql aueries. It feels like it is inherrently doing a whole lot of stuff thats causing the poor performance.

Hey dear Anton. Please consider adding the "play in the Timeline feature" so that users will not have to click/tap over to another page and back. Doing so gives some users the feeling that they are needlessly wasting their time.
The videos play in the Timeline. For the sake of convenience and site uniformity, so should mp3 player. IMO.

The last I checked, the audio (mp3) did not play in the home page feed. I cannot check this feature because there are presently no audios in the feed. Was that feature ever added? @Anton L
Hello. Yes, the current verison of Timeline doesn't have a separate feature (action) to attach Sound, but you may do it via attach File one.
The mp3 player (Sounds) in the market works fine and is well backed for updates and service. I've used it for several years with no issues.
The last I checked, the audio (mp3) did not play in the home page feed. I cannot check this feature because there are presently no audios in the feed. Was that feature ever added? @Anton L
