In Files I can create a link to our Windows File Server and happily navigate around. I have Word on my iPad Pro running 13.1 PB2 and can open and view all the Office files that I have apps for. I cannot edit them though.
I’ve tried opening from within Word but I cannot see the server I have connected to within Files. I presume this is change that the 3rd part apps will need to apply? are any you knowledgable folks in the know? because without this I dont see the iPad as a true desktop alternative. I presume it would work happily with Office 365 but we don’t use that at work.
