Currency Ticker
Webmasters, Bloggers, and Marketing Affiliates can publish this Exchange Rate ticker on their site to provide their audience with current currency exchange rate information. Real-time exchange rates aim to strengthen your website and engage your audience.
It is possible to include all 200+ supported currencies in the Ticker or configure in the Admin section a specific list of currencies to show rates for.
This module displays the current exchange rates of major world currencies. Your members can follow live currency rates at a glance.
The Ticker displays the currency symbol, current price, and country flag (optional).
You will need to create a free account with https://openexchangerates.org/ to obtain the API key.
ADMINISTRATION SETTINGS
- Administrator configures the default base Currency. By default, USD is the base. You will need to have a paid account at https://openexchangerates.org to change the base Currency but you do not need a paid account to use the module otherwise.
- Administrator configures how often the rates are updated (hourly, daily).
- Administrator can configure the Ticker to refresh periodically and fetch new info from the feed.
- Administrator can configure where in the Top Section to display Ticker (eg. between top menu and content)
- Administrator can configure where in the Bottom Section to display Ticker (eg. between breadcrumb and bottom menu)
- Administrator can configure the height of scroll container, font size of scroll text and background color of scroll container.
- Administrator can configure the number of Currencies to fetch at a time for scrolling.
