The similar situation is possible when an operator (superadmin) doesn't have the created profile which is necessary to post content menu. It's possible to check via clicking the admin's avatar icon in the top right corner, and then any of the "Add" items. If you in the "Add" page will notice the header "Create an account" then do it and repeat your actions with the feed.
