Compared to other "social network" softwares, a powerfull core strength I see in UNA is the ability to create "community models" adapted to your ideas, out of the box. I have evaluated many other open source platforms for my next project, and that strength really makes UNA special. Features like person or organization profiles are also very unique, all open sourced apps are just enough to start empowering a community project and test the real interest for such a project.
Some of the "bugs"/issues are indeed surprising to me, and should be relatively "easy" to solve. I am not a developer, but I wonder why more developers using this platform do not contribute on github to solve the "basic" issues since this is open source project. A good way to give back.

I think that the uniqueness of the UNA platform makes people stick to it. I am sure to have selected a good platform to build my next project.
