This probably due to creating a profile under your "original" admin account and by default, they both would follow each other. 

Just imagine if a member created 4 profiles under their original one.. 3 of the accounts will get notified of the actions taken by that one. I am not a huge fan of members being able to "create a profile" for that reason but, I know some website owners DO want that.
