Have you checked out some of the new AWS Media services? I have tested all of them and have the cost per month on most of the products during my testing, they all scale up and down super easy. You can have 100 channels per AWS zone live at any one time. Cloudflare is launching a new live streaming platform as well currently VOD is available for the pro-level accounts, the VOD is super fast on my sites. We are building out our infrastructure now and one of the things I would like to see is the ability to add vast links and more player meta options both at the global level and user level for broadcasters.
