I am certain he deserved the ban for his lax attitude and mocking of paying users. Yes, he was a good programmer, but he created so many modules that he couldn’t possibly keep up with maintaining them all. Quantity won over quality, and that is always a huge problem. Most of his modules are not compatible with PHP 8 and above. If possible, ask for a refund.
