It's a year later... Is the participants block not able to be -easily- added to other modules than Discussions? This feature would give a site greater coherence, in my opinion. After all, participants do discuss blogs, photos, files, videos, etc.

Btw, there was discussion and a plan about redesigning this block a few months ago.
