Hello,

I have just updated to 11.0.4 and noticed that the follow button totally disappeared for people who have not joined an Organization. This is most probably due to the logic behind the "follow" : you must first "join" an organization to follow / unfollow an organization...
Is this correct ?

Personally this logic is a problem for me because I need a logic where anyone can "follow" in order to receive notifications, without "joining". A sort of "fan page"... Maybe I should have used something else than the "organization "module to build such fan page ?? Or maybe the "follow" logic can be changed ??
edit: will "favorite" generate identical notifications as the "follow" ??
Thank you for your help for this very important feature. (I don't think it is a good solution)

edit 2 : I have also noticed that if a person wants to participate to an event, clicking on "participate" will also automatically generate a request to "join" the organization organizing the event. 😓
edit3 : I think that "join" vs "follow" is misleading me. I will most probably have people "subscribe" (just a different wording for "join") to an organization, and will simply "force" the field "confirm subscription" to "no" and not display it. Like that organizations will have "subscribers" and people ("persons") will get updates and can "follow" what happens with the organizations they are interested in. This can work in community model.
