I was adding them in studio / profile cards screen.

I managed to add labels to proile card by enabling channels in snippet meta menu. Are they one and same channel = label?
Profile cards display meta data. If you browse among new members, now tags are visible.

However, without adding meta, I could not make tags appear. 

I hope this is clear.
