    Yes, that's Okay, but when we read messages without opening Notifications page, then the count keeps increasing, even if we read new messages. so there is no direct relation between actual read messages or so.

      Yes, you are right there is no direct way to mark notification as read, when you open the particular message, it's possible to mark notifications as read only when you view notifications, but not particular content.
