  • Veedoo  Locations Map is 3rd-party module, it's better to ask module author for the support.

    Also UNA has basic search by location, for example you can enter country (USA) in location field in some search form (https://una.io/page/persons-search) to find all people in this country, you can also search in some state or city. 

    I have asked if we can have the location feild in a more logical and accessable place

    BeyondUK  Could you please create separate thread and describe your vision - we'll consider your suggestion for the future versions.

      I've already talked to the developer of the module, he says the search feature is not related to the module.
      I have a few updates. Firstly, when I go to, say, groups -> search and start typing a location in the 'Location' field, I see suggestions by Google. If I click on the suggestion with mouse and then hit 'Search', I do get the results.
      However, if I select a suggestion by hitting 'Enter' key, the page is reloaded, though my selected location is still in place, and when I hit 'Search', I get no results.
      Another interesting thing is that I am unable to search by Kyiv city  - all other cities work great, but not this one, but I guess this is Google Maps related problem. 

      • It's common behaviour that form is submitted when you hit enter, I don't see any problem here.

        I've just set my location to Kyiv and I was able to find myself, so no problem here.

        • Hi Alex, it's great that your system is working, but sadly ours isn't and it's not the enter key which is the problem.
          When using the keyboard arrow keys to select an address (then pressing enter) UNA returns no results.
          But, when clicking with the mouse to select an address (then pressing enter), it does return results. 

          This appears to be a bug - at least on our installation.
