One idea to get around it. I have changed the Membership level name from 'standard' to Member. Now, how can I remove the other options except public and members in discussion - me only (can't figure that one out - draft?), friends, selected friends, relationships, selected relationships, moderator, administrator.
Is there a file to edit or reorder them. Can't find it anywhere.
