I like the concept of group based modules as micro-communities, in order to distribute the administrative work on the most active community members, who are willing to manage smaller units of the whole community cosmos. Keeps them comitted and makes them feel wanted and needed, as they are. Those mentioned features can support them in finding the growth path for their micro-communities leading to general growth for the entire community.
