My emails, from my server, get blocked all the time because it's a smaller server...

So far I've had issues with AT&T, Hotmail, and a slew of other ones...

I've had people never confirm their emails because of this issue. More than likely also, your email won't get thrown into the spam folder like Gmail likes to do...
Also, look at setting up Mandrill on Mail Chimp as it will give you a credit of 2000 emails and will help in not getting your emails blocked. The only thing about Mandrill is it costs to use it after the 2000 emails are used up.
