Badges module features / enhancements

We loved the badges module, but we like it and would make 2 suggestions:

1-If possible to add. more module to the list of the ones that can utilize this module (more than the ones shown in the image here).

2-Would be nice to make some of the badges expire after a period of time, for example, to use "new" badge, but will expire after 2-3 weeks. To that doesn't require the team to remove the badge "new" when it is no longer new.
