Cannot uninstall/delete a module

I wanted to delete the notification module and re-install it again, hoping to help the push notification issue, however, I deleted it from studio the usual way, but it is still showing in the "installed module" still as "installed - see image" , but not in the active module, hence I cannot "reinstall it" or "reactivate it".

Any suggestions? is there a way to uninstall it without studio?

    • You can carry out this task manually through phpMyAdmin or by accessing MySQL via SSH. However, it is essential to understand the proper procedures, as incorrect actions could potentially break the entire site. It is strongly recommended to create a backup of the site beforehand. Furthermore, if you wish to learn and experiment, consider setting up a development version of the site to test any modifications before implementing them on the live site. If you cannot uninstall normally, it means the installation was done incorrectly.

      • If you deleted it before uninstalling it, that's a mistake, before deleting a module it must first be deactivated and uninstalled.

        • We did "deactivate and uninstalled" but it is still showing installed.

          here is what it looks like in the "sys_module" table. Not sure what else need to be done?

          • Did you create a backup of the database beforehand?

            • It is not advisable to work on a live site unless you have tested it on a mock version first.

              • You can install the site locally on your computer by using `localhost` instead of the domain name in the `header.inc.php` file. This allows you to test the site in a local environment first. Copy your site into the local setup and experiment with it as needed.

                • To copy your site locally before experimenting with it, you can use the following `rsync` command:

                  rsync -avz -e "ssh -i /home/your_local_user/.ssh/your_ssh_key" your_ssh_user@your_server_ip:/var/www/una/ /home/youruser/apps/una/

                  This command securely transfers the files from your server to your local machine. Ensure you replace the placeholders with your actual local user, SSH key path, SSH user, server IP, and the appropriate directory paths. Once copied, you can play with your site in the local environment.

                    Could you please specify did you get any DB error to your site's email? What records have been added recently to the log/sys_modules.log and db.error.log files?

                    • No DB error to site's email.
